| Please download the utility of your choice and run it. While CTSMB will try a identification by using SMBus capabilities of the mainboard chipset, CTSPD will read information directly from the RAM module using the SPD EEPROM. |
Help
SPD EEPROM is a small chip at the upper right corner of the RAM module. It stores timing
info on the chip as well as the module manufacturer ID. (SPD - serial presence detect)
SPD EEPROM data is standardized by JEDEC Solid State Technology Association.
Please refer to the full list of manufacturer IDs for more details.
